A web series Gangland in Motherland is all set to release on YouTube. This much-awaited web series will be released on December 19 at 6:00 pm.
The web-series is directed by Gabbar Sangrur and is penned by him and Baljeet Noor. Director Gabbar Sangrur said, The web series would have a social message for the youth. We aren’t promoting guns and gangsters in any way but telling the youth to stay away from this social menace.
In the past about one decade, gangs have spread across Punjab who are prospering on the drug-money, which is being supplied from across the border.
The director of the web series, Gabbar also added that the motive behind such a web series is that the audience wants to see experimental content. This is surely one medium where Punjabi makers can showcase their creativity and give opportunity to artistes.
He said that the series has talented character actors and Punjabi singers like Nishwan Bhullar, John Victor, Jass Manak, Guri, Mehtab Virk, Navdeep Kaler, Sippy Singh and many more.
